WHERE THE JOURNEY BEGAN

From Discovery to Development

Selo Group began in 2009 with an unexpected discovery. What started as a surfing trip to Lombok by the co-founders, led them to a remote stretch of coastline revealed at sunrise in sweeping views of turquoise waters and white sand beaches. That moment would define the vision behind the company.

What began as a passive land investment quickly evolved. Early visitors recognised the same potential, creating demand not just for land, but for fully built and managed villas. From this organic growth, Selo Group developed into a fully integrated developer, shaped by years of hands-on experience.

Today, Selo Group is a trusted name in Lombok with over a decade of experience and a portfolio of more than 40 luxury villas. Its flagship, Selong Selo Resort & Residences, comprises 50 bespoke villas set high above sea level, offering panoramic ocean views and exceptional privacy. With over 200 full-time staff across Lombok, Singapore, Malaysia, and Sumatra, the group has built a proven track record delivering high-quality developments in remote and complex locations demonstrating resilience through market cycles and global challenges.

Each Selo property is defined by quality, sustainability, and long-term value. Solar-powered operations, farm-to-table initiatives, and high levels of waste reuse reflect a commitment to responsible development without compromising experience. Selo Suites continues this vision offering thoughtfully designed residences that combine strong investment fundamentals with the enduring appeal of Selong Belanak.
